I created this spec campaign for Calm, the mental health and meditation app, as if I were their social media content creator. Calm has an estimated 180 million downloads and 3 million 5-star reviews according to the company's latest press release. I was inspired by Calm's Instagram with its 3.5 million followers. The company uses this platform to inspire its followers to "stress less, sleep more" and "feel better".
Yoga and meditation fall under Calm's umbrella of well-being for all so I included an image of a woman sitting cross-legged on the shore of a lake in a meditative pose. I retained the purple-blue aspect of Calm's visual identity throughout the social media posts and ad creatives I made.
The thirty seconds of zen spec commercial was inspired by Calm's 30 second spots on television where the company invites viewers to take 30 seconds out of their day to be, what else, calm. These ad creatives were formulated in Kling AI and Canva and edited in Veed.
